Achieving a quality outcome is the result of a number of important factors including a detailed understanding of the project, the use of quality materials/finishes, the choice of experienced subcontractors, and the way we value our most important resource, our employees.
Managing Director
With a wealth of experience and knowledge behind him, James Gilliver started Buildridge in 2009.
James has been involved in a diverse array of projects ranging from the highly detail-oriented nature of building luxury homes to the construction of commercial, multi-residential development, and mixed-use development projects.
In his previous roles, James has played pivotal roles in the management and building of seminal projects for some of Sydney’s premier builders and developers. In addition to his hands-on experience across a range of projects, James acted as Site and Project Manager for several notable projects such as the construction of six high-end luxury waterfront townhouses, three 2000m2 factory units constructed on 8000m2 of swampland, and the $19M construction of student housing for Boston University Sydney Central in Chippendale.
James drives many of Buildridge’s commercial initiatives, plays an active role in developing and fostering vital relationships with clients, investors, and partners across the industry at large. In doing so he curates a bright and continually prosperous future for the company.
Operations Manager
Having been with Buildridge since the first year of operation, Glenn is an integral part of the company. He collaboratively works across all departments in order to maintain a high level of professionalism and communication between our team.
As our Operations Manager, Glenn liaises with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered. Ensuring the Buildridge standard is met and maintaining important relationships.
Glenn holds formal qualifications in electronics and communications, management, and real estate. He has worked in a number of different fields, some of which include customer service, manufacturing, logistics, refrigeration, gas, and water. This coupled with the practical experience and knowledge gained from renovating properties for over 40 years, provides an additional level of experience to complement the team.
Project Manager
Nathan joined Buildridge in 2016 after working with his father in his family building company for 10 years.
During this time Nathan gained valuable residential construction experience through a variety of projects including renovations, extensions, and new architecturally designed homes.
A desire to grow and undertake new challenges led to Nathan accepting an offer to become a Leading Hand within the Buildridge team and now has worked his way up.
Nathan delivers a wealth of knowledge for our clients, from the initial design concept to handover, ensuring the highest quality is delivered to our clients. He has always had a passion for innovative and efficient methods of building to deliver the best results for our clients. He ensures Buildridge standard is met and delivered to all our clients no matter how big or small the project is.
Nathan is a Licensed Carpenter and has his Certificate IV in Building and Construction.
Accounts Manager
An integral member of Buildridge since 2015, Amelia looks after the accounting and bookkeeping requirements of the company.
With a Bachelor of Commerce and accounting qualifications from TAFE, Amelia brings years of valuable experience in the areas of retail, manufacturing, and real estate.
Well qualified, highly organised, with a keen eye for detail, we are blessed to have Amelia part of the team ensuring Buildridge’s smooth financial processes.
Design & Marketing Coordinator
Alicia is an adaptable, driven, and efficient individual, making her a perfect fit for Buildridge. As the Design & Marketing Coordinator, her focus is to bring an interior design division to the company, as well as streamline marketing and operations.
Coming from a customer service and real estate background, Alicia enjoys that construction is a constantly evolving industry and loves the idea of being involved in building someone’s dream home. Her organisation, structure, and attention to detail are what make her an integral part of the Buildridge team.
Alicia holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management from UTS, Certificate IV in Property Services, and is currently studying towards a Certificate IV in Interior Decoration at Sydney Design School.
Site Manager
Michael started with Buildridge in 2021 as a Site Manager. He has experience in Carpentry and as a Supervisor in other roles.
Michael manages multiple Buildridge worksites and sustains the performance of workers on-site in order to ensure impeccable quality is delivered to our clients. Michael liaises with the whole team in order to ensure deadlines are met, budgets are followed and the safety on site is maintained. Quality is never compromised on Buildridge sites, no matter how big or small the project is.
